Full Description

A series of small extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs {1-2}. The features lie within the prehistoric field system described in MDO2072 and are considered likely to be post medieval in origin. They were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
