Full Description

A series of parallel features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs {1} on the steep slope immediately to the west of Gorwell Farm. They are considered likely to be medieval or later lynchets, possibly the result of animal movement as much as being man-made. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
