Full Description
SY60138780. A close group of three mounds; average 7.5m in diameter and up to 1.2m in height. Turf-covered and of barrow-like appearance, but almost certainly old spoil-heaps associated with nearby surface flint diggings. <1>
Two small round mounds visible as earthworks on aerial photographs <2-3>. Possibly post medieval spoil heaps. The NMR lists three mounds at this location but only two were identified and digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
