Full Description

A series of earthwork scarps are visible on aerial photographs on the steep west facing slope above Foxholes Coppice {1}. They may be extractive features and lynchets of medieval or later date athough a natural origin cannot be ruled out.The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
