Full Description
A scatter of chalk pits with associated spoil heaps of probable post medieval origin, visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs {1-2} on the north-east side of Pitcombe Down. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
