Full Description

A field system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs {1-2} in the vicinty of the Bronze Age enclosure on Tennants Hill (MDO1263). The field system is considered likely to be of contemporary origin with the enclosure although later medieval elements may have been subsiquently added. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
