Full Description

A series of banked enclosures and field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs {1-2} along the south side of the small combe which runs north-westward from Down Cottage. The features which are of uncertain (prehistoric or medieval) origin were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
