Full Description

Fragments of a medieval field system, including lynchets and ridge and furrow culivation, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the south facing slopes at Whatcombe House {1-2}. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
