A type 22 Pillbox on the parish boundary between Puddletown and Tincleton. The pillbox is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of the 1940s.

Full Description
Type 22 Pillbox at White Mead, near Dorchester. Part of the Maiden Newton-Poole Stop Line. It was originally camouflaged with a chimney (still insitu) and a galvanised roof to make it look like a house.

The pillbox described above was visible as a structure on aerial photographs of the 1940s. (1-2) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
