Full Description
The largest and southwesternmost of two gravel pits recorded on the OS 1st Edition map (2) is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (3).
The pit is elongated sub-oval in form and measures 34m long by 15m wide.
The site is under housing on Badbury Drive on current Google Earth imagery and the feature is no longer visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
