Summary

Country house, originally of 1620 for Sir Thomas Freke, substantially modified and extended in about 1740-1750 by William Freke, or the new owner (from 1741), John Floyer. Built in Portland ashlar, with some rubble walls and slate roofs.

Full Description

Westbrook House, Church St, Upwey. Old house built c 1620 by Sir Thomas Freke - partly demolished c 1730 by William Freke and largely rebuilt 1740-1750 by William Floyer. Other alterations date to 1806. <1-3>
