'Rocket & Life Saving Apparatus House' on Chesil Beach, first shown on the Ordnance Survey map of 1903. (1)
A structure is visible at this location on aerial photographs (2-3) and is considered likely to be the site of the Rocket & Life Saving Apparatus House described above. It is probable this site was later reused as part of Wyke Regis Bridging Camp (MDO29869). It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
