Summary
A lime kiln recorded as ‘Old Limekiln’ on the 1st epoch Ordnance Survey map. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most likely to be mid nineteenth century. The site was visited in 1992-93 by Peter Stanier, who could find no trace of the kiln structure.
