An allotment is shown at this location on the 1934-38 Ordnance Survey 25-inch map (1). This site is also visible on aerial photographs of Weymouth taken in 1946 (2). It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). Recent aerial images suggest these allotments are stil in use (3).
