Summary

Headstone dated 1870, to Thomas Henry Nicholson, and his daughter Charlotte Neville. An unusual 'portrait' memorial, a lofty slab with rounded head, with carved drapes over a sunken panel with the heads of the two deceased in profile, and an artist's palette between in low relief. The inscription records Nicholson as an artist, who lived from 1815 to 1870.
