Summary
A lime kiln recorded as ‘limekiln’ on the 1st epoch and 2nd epoch (1900-2) Ordnance Survey map. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most likely to be mid nineteenth century. The site was visited in 1992-93 by Peter Stanier, who could find no trace of the kiln structure.
