Full Description

(ST 57600603. Melling House stable yard sited from Auth 1 and OS 2500 1980).
Stable yard immediately North of Melling House. Late C17th West block which formed the West range of a courtyard, since destroyed, but rebuilt as a stable yard 1801-2 by J Brettingham, so that the stable now form the East range of the yard.
