Full Description
Tumulus located and surveyed. <2>
SY 7241 9462. Robin's Barrow, a bowl barrow 14 paces diameter and 1ft high, apparently almost entirely removed for a water tank since 1939. <3>
SY 7241 9463. Robin's Barrow, a bowl barrow formerly 47ft diameter and 4 1/2 ft high, has been severely mutilated by the insertion of a water tank, and its outline is very irregular. <4>
SY 7241 9462. Robin's Barrow (name not confirmed); a low mound of stones 16.0m, in diameter and 0.2m high. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <5>
No remains observable in 1985. <6>
The water tank has now been removed. The site is considered to be of low archaeological potential and is not recommended for scheduling. Ground photo with archive report. <7>
Site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow. A small low earthwork mound is visible in the vicinity on aerial photographs taken in 1948. <8>

'(47) Robin's Barrow, bowl (72419463), 680 yds. E.N.E. of (46), lies at the E. end of the ridge with a steep slope on the N. It has been severely mutilated by the insertion of a water tank and its outline is very irregular. Diam. 47 ft., ht.4½ ft. (formerly).'
