The Red Lion Inn has a symmetrical front of five bays with a central doorway. (2)

‘Unless otherwise described, the following monuments are of the 18th century and are two-storeyed, or single-storeyed with dormer-windowed attics, and have coursed rubble walls and tiled or slated roofs. … (20) The Red Lion Inn, 80 yds. S.E. of (1), has a symmetrical N. front of five bays with a central doorway and with large sashed windows in both storeys; at the eaves is a moulded wooden cornice.’
