Full Description

`B' - SY 70979456 Ditchless, grass covered mound, 15 m diameter and 1.0 m high with the appearance of a bowl barrow. Two lynchets touch the mound. <2>

`B' - SY 70979457 Barrow? 45 ft diameter and 3 ft high. <4>

SY 710945-SY 718945. Three round barrows on Waterston Ridge, Puddletown. Scheduled. <5>

`B' SY 70979456. A probable bowl barrow, diameter 16.0m., height 0.8m., in pasture but ploughed down: No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6>

A Bronze Age barrow is located at the West end of Waterston Ridge. It is one of three barrows, all of which are scheduled. It is visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1948. <7>
