Summary

18th century landscape park at Beaminster Manor containing woodland, lawns and traces of a tree avenue. The gate piers and wall to the south west and south, and the walled kitchen garden are all 18th century in date.

Full Description

C18 landscape park, at most extensive c.25ha, reduced to c.5ha adjacent to manor. To south west and south, gate piers and wall, C18. Gate piers reputed to have come from Clifton Maybank, Somerset. Walled kitchen garden with entrance gate 100m east of manor, C18. [Full topographical description] LISTED GRADE II.
