Monument record MDO21734 - Lime kiln near Uploders farm, Loders

Summary
A lime kiln recorded as ‘old limekiln’ on the second edition (1900-1902) Ordnance Survey map. Later 1:10,000 scale Ordnance Survey map record a ‘kiln’ at this. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most likely to be late nineteenth century. The site was visited in 1992-93 by Peter Stanier, who could find no trace of the kiln structure.
