Summary

Iron Age pottery has been recorded as found in the vicinity of St Mary's Church, Cerne Abbas, prior to July 1934. This was recorded in the proceedings of the Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society for that year, although it is not made clear if the pottery was found specifically in the vicinity of the church, or in the general vicinity of the town.
