Full Description
A trapezoidal chalky soilmark at SY 6284 9247, c.70m SE of the site of a known Neolithic Long Barrow seen on aerial photographs taken in April 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording Programme. It is possible this is the site of a second long barrow. <1>
A small sub-rectangular enclosure located along the western interior edge of a larger rectangular enclosure (MDO21690) of probable Iron Age/Romano-British date, situated on a hilltop just to the north-west of Hampton Plantations.
