Full Description

An enclosed field system of probable Iron Age/Romano-British origin is visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs. It is likely to be comtemporary with the nearby settlement earthworks (MDO21649) located on the western slope of the Long Bottom valley. The field system appears to be cut by a later boundary bank (MDO21650) which runs north-south along the hilltop. {1-8}.
