Full Description

A rectilinear bank and ditched field system is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of the Roman road on Eggardon Ridge. It lies immediately to the west of the univallate enclosure described in record MDO1541. It considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman date. A single field boundary lies to the north of enclosure MDO1541 and is on the same alignment as the rest of this field system, it is therefore considered to be part of it. {1}
