Full Description

The probable site of a later prehistoric settlement enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of the Roman road on Eggardon Ridge. It lies immediately outside the univallate enclosure described in record MDO1541 and within a bank and ditched field system which is probably of contemporary date. The enclosure is 32m across, polygonal and defined by a single ditch. It is one of two adjacent enclosures, the other being described in MDO21548. {1}
