Full Description
The old fire station was probably built in the late 1920s and was redundant by 1972. It was demolished in 2003. It comprised a large brick shed with the garage for the fire station in the northern part and a room to the south and a toilet in the NW corner of the building. There was an inspection pit in the floor of the garage. It had a flat roof and stone rubble footings (1) (2).
