Full Description

Site of a probable Bronze Age bowl barrow visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. It appears to have been the focus for the adjacent Iron Age/Romano-British settlement just to the south-east (MDO1173) and may have been reused or adopted. The enclosure (MDO21329) that surrounds this feature may be contemporary with it or a later addition. {1}
