Full Description

A system of ditches is visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs, roughly following the contours to the north-east, east and south-east of Rowden Farm. The features are considered likely to be leats forming part of a water meadow (catch meadow) system of post medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.{1-3}
