Full Description

One of a group of barrows which are grass covered, but on arable land, and have all been ploughed over in recent years. SY 5467 9454: Barrow L, a flinty mound, diameter 8 metres, height 0.3 metres, with no visible ditch. Possibly a bowl barrow. <2>

Site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow on Eggardon Hill, forming part of a barrow cemetery. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. <3>
