Summary

Two Roman coins were dug up from the garden of Mr. Lionel Parsons in Gold Street, Stalbridge at some time prior to 1889. One was brass and the other copper. The copper coin had a perfect female head on the obverse with the inscription LVCILLA AVGVSTA.
