Field system and settlement features of probable Roman origin to the west of Poundbury Hillfort. These features are visible as cropmarks and soilmarks under excavation on aerial photographs. {1-2}

The remains of a complex of rectilinear ditched enclosures, possibly Iron Age or Roman in date, exposed during excavation in September 2007.
