Full Description
A series of seven parallel bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. These lynchets are of uncertain date, and whilst their pattern is similar to the medieval strip fields seen around Charminster, a prehistoric origin cannot be ruled out. {1}
