Two prehistoric or Roman ditched enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south-east of Wolfeton Clump. They are associated with the celtic field system described in record MDO20448.

Full Description

Two prehistoric or Roman ditched enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south-east of Wolfeton Clump. The western enclosure is subrectangular, 55m by 35m in size and located at SY 70059 94874. The eastern encloclosure, at SY 70167 94913 is 50m across and may have an entrance mid-way along it's north-eastern side. These enclosures are associated with the celtic field system described in record MDO20448. {1}
