Full Description

<1> Royal Commission on Historical Monuments England, 1952, An Inventory of Historical Monuments in the County of Dorset, Volume I (West), 148 (Monograph). SDO97.

'(28) No. 26 Broad Street, house on the S. side of the street, 70 yards W. of (25), is of three storeys, with stucco-faced walls and mansard roof. It was built early in the 19th century. The ground floor contains a modern shop-front between two doorways flanked by Corinthian columns; there are two pilasters the height of the first and second floors, a stone cornice and a parapet wall. The three windows on the first floor have moulded architraves, one with a pediment, and open on to a balcony with iron balustrade of honeysuckle-pattern.'
