Two Lower Palaeolithic handaxes have been found in Sherborne parish. One is held at Exeter Museum and the other at the Hunterian Museum, Glasgow University.

Two Lower Palaeolithic handaxes have been found in Sherborne parish. One is held at The Royal Albert Museum, Exeter and the other at the Hunterian Museum, Glasgow University. [1]
