4-22 Victoria Grove is a late-19th-century terrace of workers' houses built either for a mill owner or a speculative developer. The terrace of seven houses is built in a Victorian gothic style in red brick with painted stone or rendered dressings. The houses are of two storeys with basements and attics. There are narrow front yards surrounded by iron railings and small yards to the rear. (1)
