Full Description
Fives court marked on 1845 Bothenhampton Tithe map. The tithe apportionement lists it as 'Fives Court & Gymnasium' owned by Walter Eustace Gundry esq and occupied by Charles Templer and others (1). It lies behind Samuel Gundry's 1837 'Portville' development on the west side of West Bay Road. The court lies to the south of Fives Court Row, presumably named after this court.
The court is not shown on the 1890 Ordnance Survey map (2).
