Full Description

Site of a brick kiln marked on the 1845 Bothenhampton Tithe map. The apportionment records it as ' Brickkiln & Yard' owned and occupied by Walter Eustace Gundry esq (1). This is one of a number of small brick yards in the Bridport area, probably providing bricks for the early 19th century buildings in the area (2)
