Full Description

A small isolation hospital, set within a rectangular enclosure is shown on lower East Cliff, West Bay, Bridport on the 1890 and 1902 Ordnance Survey 25-inch maps. It is marked as 'Hospital' on the earlier map and 'Hospital (Infectious Diseases)' on the later map (1) (2). The hospital appears to have been demolished by 1929 as it is not shown on the 1929 Ordnance Survey map (3).
