Full Description

Site of former open rope walk. It is recorded on the Allington Tithe map and apportionment as ' Houses & Spinning Walk', owned by William Hoskins and occupied by Hoskins and another. (1)

This rope walk is also depicted on the 1887 Ordnance Survey map, running back from the house on the North Allington frontage along the whole length of the garden to a small turning house at the east end. A number of trees are depicted along the length of this walk (2).
