Sunk by German submarine UB58.
25-APR-1955 HMS TYRIAN apparently passed over wreck in position 144 deg, Portland Lighthouse, 5.95 miles.
20-JUL-1961 Few sonar echoes obtained using type 162 but failed to regain contact. Position derived using radar ranging on Portland Bill.
18-MAY-1965 Nothing found during close sonar examination.
