Full Description
The Old Watch House was the original coastguard lookout before the new coastguard station was built in 1901 (1). It was a rectangular building with extensions to the rear with a thatched roof. The Boat house was on the ground floor and the look-out room above, reached by an external staircase on the east side.
It became the Old-watch-house Café, which burnt down on 28 August 1970. It was demolished and replaced by the modern Old Watch House Café. (1).
