'Uncertain period. A surface find in the garden of Plush Manor, given by Mr. W. A. Graham of Buckland Newton (1954.22). This bronze ring, 80mm. in external diameter, is presumably an armlet, but the thickness is gracefully tapered, so that it would hang with the heavier side downwards. It has acquired an even dark green patina. I can recall no parallels, except an almost identical ring in the Museum (unnumbered, with no indication of source), which is less beautifully tapered. Neither is decorated.'
