Armed Steamship – Cargo: Coal. (Detail in Larn:) – Torpedoed and sunk by German Submarine U-55, 9 miles SE. by S. of Beer Head. Also mentioned in Clarke, but he thinks the wreck is at GPS; 50 23.53 N; 02 53.74W is the Nyasaland. Four crew were killed and one died of exposure. Refs.
