Full Description

A Curtis P40 Tomahawk, originlly intended for the French air force. Flown from Weston Zoyland, Somerset, by PO Harold Fraser English of 400 squadron Royal Canadian Air Force. Crashed on 8 November 1941 undergoing formation flying training when hit severe hailstorm. PO English survived. Investigated by Selwyn Williams, cockpit parts recovered now in Weymouth museum
