Whitley 79320 EY- While returning to base, and with its wireless equipment unserviceable, the crew strayed off track and , subsequently, came down in the sea at 0200 some 20 miles S of the Hampshire resort of Bournemouth. All crew were taken to RN Hospital Haslar for treatment.
