Summary

A bowl barrow reported as being around 40 feet in diameter with a mound about 1½ feet high. Much damaged. The site of the barrow is visible as a plough-levelled mound on aerial photographs taken in 1974. It was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description

A barrow group. (See Table 1.) Three other barrows mentioned (2,3 and 4) could be part of this group. (See Table 2.) <1-2>

The site of the barrow is visible as a plough-levelled mound on aerial photographs taken in 1974, (OS 1974 (8)). It was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
