Full Description

A Roman Key was found during excavations in the grounds of Sherborne School in 1903 (1).

This findspot has been mapped on The Slype, Sherborne Abbey, because another discovery took place there in the same year. It is by no means clear that the Key was found in this precise spot. It could have been recovered from anywhere within the grounds of Sherborne School.
